The Black History Hut was created because we could not find a website that sold ONLY rare Black magazines, books, and memorabilia. This website is a repository of the Black experience in print. Some of us learned bits and pieces of the Black American experience through various means. However, Jet, Ebony and a few other magazines documented segregation and the civil rights movement UNFILTERED--written from a Black perspective. We have a huge reservoir of vintage Ebony, Jet and other forgotten gems of the Black diaspora. Most of these gems are 30, 40, or 50+ years old and extremely hard to find. Each magazine is an original--NOT A COPY or reproduction. We have almost 3,000 rare items in our inventory. Please browse through each category.
